DEFENSIVE ENCOUNTERS COURSE

Our Defensive Encounters Course is where the rubber truly meet the road for any self defender wanting a truly immersive experience learning new self defense skills and putting them to the test. This course will:

• Reinforce shoot, no shoot principles.

• Threat attack indicators and managing contacts and conflict de-escalation.

• Sharpen critical thinking choices within use of force.

• Less lethal options ( Students will train with inert (water based) pepper spray.

• Stop bleeding (dealing with medical trauma).

• live scenarios where everything will be put to the test in real world scenarios.

  Gear List:

  • BRING A LUNCH!

  • Ear and Eye protection (electronic muffs preferred)

  • Suitable STRONG SIDE / appendix / CONCEALABLE holster that protects the trigger.

  • Semi-Automatic Pistol or Revolver

  • 200 rounds of ammuniton

  • At least three functional magazines (semi-autos) or speed-loaders (revolvers) with a magazine pouch.

  • Comfortable clothing similar to what students will where while carrying.

  • Shoes/Boots – comfortable with sufficient support to permit a full range of motion. No sandals or flip-flops.

  • Students will receive and use inert (water based) pepper spray trainers during class.
