Why get the Utah CCW?

  • Issued to residents and non-residents

  • Valid in 37 states for UT residents (see map)

  • Valid in 31 states for non-residents (see map)

  • Must be 21 years or older

  • $67 application fee (not needed day of course)

  • 6 week application process

  • Permit valid for 5 years

This 4-hour course is taught by a certified MAG Deadly Force Instructor and Utah BCI Instructor. This course follows the mandatory Utah curriculum including firearms safety, legal considerations, and the application process. The course does not require range time. Fingerprints and the required passport photo are included in the course fee.

AZ CCW permit and the required fingerprints may be added for an additional $20.

*Deposits and courses are non-refundable.  Students may apply the costs to a future date or another course.
