This course is a pre-requisite to becoming an NRA Basic Shotgun Instructor.
The goal of the NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting is to teach students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a shotgun safely.
This 9-hour objective based course goes over all shotgun action types in great detail. This course is an excellent starting point for the new or soon-to-be shotgun owner, hunter, or the shooter looking to become more proficient with their own firearm.
Students are encouraged to bring their own shotgun. We can supply firearms in the classroom for students who are not bringing their own.
