This course is a pre-requisite to becoming an NRA Basic Rifle Instructor.

The goal of the NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting - Instructor Led Training (ILT) is to teach students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a rifle safely.

This 8-hour objective based course goes over all rifle action types in great detail.  This course is an excellent starting point for the new or soon-to-be rifle owner or the shooter looking to become more proficient with their own firearm.

Students are encouraged to bring their own rifle.  We can supply firearms in the classroom for students who are not bringing their own.
